Extremely challenging ski route from Pfelders to the Lodner in the Texel group - only for very experienced ski tourers
Follow the path up to just below the Lazinser Alm, about 4 km. Now turn left into the Lazinser valley. First on the right side of the stream, after a signpost change to the left side (mostly avalanche mounds). Flat into the valley to the Bockhüttalm, 1980 m. Below it cross to the other side of the stream and steeply uphill diagonally left on the slope towards a rocky headland up to a deep ravine. Right of it climb over a ridge until it flattens out at 2350 m. Straight ahead and over the ridge to a large cairn. Now the left slope towards Hohe Weiße up to a large limestone rock. Pass the limestone rock on the left and long below the northeast slope of the Lodner, 2800 m. Climb this slope and steeply right under rocks at about 3000 m to below the next rocks. Now left into the saddle, 3100 m. A little further on skis – ski depot. Over the upper steep section (40°) with crampons onto the flat summit and to the highest point with the cross. Descent as ascent.
