Long route to the Lenkstein between the Reintal and the Defereggental.
The starting point is the Jausenstation Säge (1580 m); 2 km behind Rein in the Bachertal. Across the bridge and always to the right of the stream, on path no. 8c into the valley. Further down valley to the Furtalm (1787 m). Through loose forest, keeping left, up above the gorge of the Ursprung valley into a basin (2000 m) below a rock face. Left through a long steep valley hollow up to below the Ursprungalm. At the end of this hollow (approx. 2300 m) diagonally into the valley basin on the right. Diagonally left into the next valley level (2440 m). Left through hollows towards two large rock formations (the right one round). Up to 2880 m between the rocks and above the right up to a saddle (2950 m). Around the upper rock and diagonally right over steep slopes up until it becomes flatter. Now the summit can already be seen. Right up to the saddle (large cairn). As far as possible with skis up the left slope (ski depot here) and over the ridge to the summit. Descent: same as ascent.
