From the car park at the valley station heading north on the forest road, crossing the Malbach and without gaining altitude until the junction, where the path to Latschenhütte branches off on the left. Follow this gently through the Falzlehntal to the Latschenhütte; along the way, cross the toboggan run twice and from 1545 m altitude, cover the last section to the Latschenhütte on the toboggan run.
