In spring, the Kraspesrunde from the Finstertal to the Kraspestal is a rewarding circular route.
Already in the Weiß ski touring guide of 1994, the Kraspesrunde is praised as a magnificent circular route. However, compared to then, you will not be alone today. There is usually less traffic here than at the Sulzkogel. Since the circular route ends in Haggen, you should think beforehand about how to get back.
Author’s recommendation
As long as the ski area is in operation, there are bus connections (at midday irregularly), afterwards an e-bike or hitchhiking helps.

The descent from the Kraspesspitze into the Wilde Kar is steep and sometimes avalanche-prone.Roadbook
From the parking lot (Kühtai or Dreiseenlift) via the Alpenrosenlift and the road to the dam of the Finstertal reservoir. Here cross depending on the water level and from the southern end via the Schafleger to the Finstertaler Scharte and onto the Schartenkogel (2855m). The last meters are usually windblown. Descent southwards towards Weites Kar, as far as you like or just below the spur. Ascent again to the Kraspesspitze (2954m), mostly on foot at the ridge at the end. From the ski depot the chute to the NE, can under certain conditions still be powdery, usually already tracked out. Now either to the Kraspessee with an uphill section and the Obere Zwing or, under safe conditions, follow the valley course and traverse left into a steep slope, descend to the valley floor and via the Untere Zwing to Haggen.
