Koppachstein East summit

The rounded summit of the eastern Koppachstein in the Balderschwanger Valley is ideal for relaxed ski routes. It leads to the summit in uncomplicated terrain over wide, sunny meadows and pastures and past three snow-covered alpine huts. The East summit of the Koppachstein offers wide views of the mountains of the Bregenzerwald to the south and up to the Säntis to the southwest. The descent takes place on very nice slopes along the ascent route and completely without flat or pushing sections – ideal for beginners or as a leisurely afternoon ski route. Note: The forests on the slopes of the Koppachstein are designated wildlife protection areas in winter and must not be entered either on the ascent or the descent.
