The Kolbenspitze is a dynamic ski mountain in the Texel Group.
Starting point on the Pfelderer Straße about 2 km past Platt, where the path to Farmazonhof branches off to the left. After the Farmazonbach on the right side (1300 m) limited parking! You walk a bit back on the road and then left of the stream over meadows up to Farmazonhof (1380 m). Continue over the meadows to the forest edge. On a path flat to the right into the valley. Now steeper up left of the stream and after a steep section to Farmazonalm (1886 m; attention: this path section is very avalanche-prone from the left side!). Now continue straight on the flat valley to the start of a narrow gorge called "Kanonenrohr". Ascend this somewhat laboriously until you reach flatter terrain again. Now head diagonally left over beautiful slopes high up, then diagonally right to reach the summit well. Descent: same as ascent Tip: In late spring, this forest road can be used well with a mountain bike.
