long but rewarding ski route in the Allgäu Alps, without "valley tramping" and long traverses. At the beginning, a somewhat unpleasant steep slope (with little snow, there are dwarf pines). Preconditions: high snow cover and low avalanche danger, i.e., very safe conditions. If all fits, you have a great route because the ski terrain beyond the lower steep section is more than ideal. Better in midwinter, with lots of snow, and from the bottom up.

From the district of Klimm of the municipality Elmen (parking lot at the nature park house) past the Hotel Lechzeit and up a steeper slope of about 300 vertical meters (unpleasant dwarf pines with little snow) to somewhat gentler slopes. Over beautiful open slopes past the Luchskopf into the Großkar. Here steeper up to the western shoulder and over the ridge to the summit. Descent either directly over the steep slope from the summit (over 45 degrees) or via the ascent route over endless slopes.
Late in spring, the lower dwarf pine slope is mostly bare – therefore, if there is a lot of snow and conditions are safe – go!!
