From the parking lot at the schizentrum in Angertal, cross the bridge at the drag lift and then follow the summer path through the Karteisenwald to the Gadaunerhochalm and then directly to the summit, which is ascended either via the NE or SE ridge. The descent, under good snow conditions, also goes directly between the N and S ridges down the open meadow slopes to the Laffenbach, which is crossed at a bridge and then follows the forest path to the ski slope and the last few meters back over the ski slope to the parking lot. If the open meadow slopes past the Gadaunerhochalm are already very worn, there is the option from P2054 to take the wonderfully inclined ridge down to the forest and then through the forest again to the stream.
