The parking lot at the Angertal ski center is the starting point. Cold start in the steep forest after the children's lifts. In the Karteisenwald forest, walk comfortably west towards the plateau of the Gadauner Alm. Above the notch with a cross, ascend on the left side of the steep east-facing summit structure. On the flat summit plateau, head north to the summit of Kalkbretterkopf at 2,412 m. We enjoy the view and then the powder snow in the forest shade, cross a small bridge over the Lafenbach, and come over the ski slope to the “Angerblick” where refreshments are in order.
