Start: Above the valley station of the Jennerbergbahn (635 m) > Ascent along the right-hand edge of the piste - in the upper section at 1,070 m, branch off to the right of the piste and ascend past the snowmaking pond to the middle station of the Jennerbahn. > Destination: Jennerbahn middle station (1200 m)

Age groups:
- Cadets: 15-17 (2000-2002)
- Junior: 18-20 (1997-1999)
- Senior: 21-44 (1976-1996)
- Masters: 45+ (1972 and older)
- Classes: As the difference in altitude is less than 700 metres, all classes start on one course.
- Note: In the Cadet class, younger starters (not younger than 2003) can also start in exceptional cases with the consent of their parents (written declaration or presence of parents at registration).
- The start of the race is located in the immediate vicinity of the valley station of the Jennerbahn and is approx. 50 metres away from the registration
. (Accompanying persons will receive discounted tickets for the Jennerbahn on request at the registration desk). - The mandatory briefing for participants takes place 5 minutes before the start!
- There are plenty of parking spaces in the large Königssee car park, but as the 2-man bobsleigh world championships are taking place at the same time at the bobsleigh and luge track, the car park may be quite full!
- Participants' clothing must be handed in at the start area and will be transported to the middle station by cable car.
As the race takes place entirely on the piste, the following equipment is not required:
- VS device
- Avalanche shovel
- Avalanche probe
- rescue blanket
- Signal whistle
- Sunglasses / ski goggles
- rucksack
All other equipment prescribed in the DAV regulations must be carried during the race.
The course is marked with green flags during the race. As the ascent runs along a piste open to the public, it is only permitted to ascend to the right of the flags. Leaving the course and throwing away objects is prohibited and will result in disqualification without exception.
Info: This is an outdoor event where there is a risk of accident and injury for participants. Accident and recovery insurance for competitions is therefore recommended for all participants. Insurance can be applied for at www.skimo.at, DAV members are covered by their DAV-ASS insurance during the event. The organiser is not liable for accidents or damage caused to athletes, accompanying persons, spectators or objects during the event, nor to third parties.
All participants must make themselves available for a possible doping test.
By registering, the participant accepts all conditions of the competition and the DAV ski mountaineering regulations in full.
