From the Sporthof over the bridge and over meadows to the access to the farm Klapfwies and alongside it to the start of the forest road, 1440 m. Along this for 4 1/2 km to the Klapfbergalm, 1944 m. Before the Klapfbergalm turn right over a bridge to the alpine huts. Past a new hut, right over the ditch and straight to the next huts and into open terrain uphill. At 2230 m diagonally right above the forest edge onto the eastern ridge. Along this up to under the steep, narrow ridge rise, 2560 m. Ski depot. Over the ridge to the subpeak. Descend a few meters and over the slightly longer, not difficult ridge to the summit, about 1/2 hour from the ski depot. Descent the same as ascent.
