Ski touring is actually only pleasantly quiet outside the main alpine ski season!
Also from the valley station of the Schlossalm lift in Bad Hofgastein, the Hirschkarspitze can be climbed via the slopes or the ski route already described here to the Kleine Scharte.
Derived from the technical difficulty and the stamina requirements.

During the alpine ski season, dining in the Schlossalm area is possible, but not in the pre- and post-season periods.Roadbook
We start leisurely in the Angertal by choosing for the ascent not the Käferstall slope H32, but the Kaisereben slope H31. In two long switchbacks, it goes relatively flat along the groomed forestry road finally around the Ochsenriedel in a left curve to the Schlosshochalm. We turn left beforehand into the steeper slope H32, which leads up to the Ochsenriedel. In a very large right curve, we now cross without further altitude gain the wide hollow of the Schlossalm above the Hamburger ski hut to the upper station of the Schlossalm lift (on the slope with slight loss of altitude). Immediately behind this, we mildly go downhill into the Kleine Scharte. We head in the steep west flank of the Hirschkarspitze in a few switchbacks to its north ridge and then follow the ridge with or without skis upward. A short ascent, a rolling flattening, briefly through crags into the west flank, and up the steep summit slope on the left to the summit cross.
Descent/downhill along the ascent route, with good variation possible in the slope area.
