Hinterer Kitzkogel, south summit

Ascent: Right of the stream on the alpine pasture path to the Timmelsalm (1979 m). Already before the alpine pasture, cross the stream to the left or at the alpine pasture via a bridge, to the other side to the beginning of the "Long Valley". Up on the right of the stream gorge and then left into the wider valley. Through hollows with moderate incline up to a steeper slope. Over this, keeping slightly to the left, upwards; at 2530 m you can cross again to wider terrain on the right over a hump. Through a wide valley called "Waterfall", exactly in northern direction, until you reach the Upper Beilloch. Deep into the basin and right through hollows under a steep slope (2780 m) up into a wider hollow below the last steep slope. Over this steep slope on the left side up to the ridge saddle (3030 m). Now with or without skis over a narrow ridge right to the advanced summit with cross. Descent as ascent. Before the last narrow valley at an altitude of 2167 m, you can go out to a corner
