Grabspitze

The starting point is the Pfitscher guesthouse (1442 m). Over the bridge and to the right farm. From there across the meadow to its end. At a bench (trail marker no. 1A) turn right through open forest up to the start of the steep forest zone. Now left over the steep summer path to a wayside cross with memorial (possibly carry skis); shortly after a gate. After 50 m go right uphill (marker). Through a bright forest valley you reach the old, dilapidated shepherd's hut (1904 m). Now you can clearly see the continuation of the route: You cross – not too high – the whole basin on the left to get under a rock to the steep gully. Up through this to the second basin. Ascend diagonally left through it to the third basin, which is flatter. Now you see the large, wide summit slope. First diagonally left uphill and then, increasingly steep, straight to the ridge. Diagonally left flat towards the summit. Descent: same as ascent.
