Alpine route on the Felbe between Pfitsch and Pfunders.
Starting point is the bridge over the Pfitscher Bach at St. Jakob in front of the church at the bus stop (1440 m). At the signpost “Viedalpe” cross the bridge and immediately on the path turn left to a small wooden house. Two forest roads start to the right. Follow the left one, which leads to the outlet of the right creek of the gorge. Just before this gorge at 1550 m a narrow forest glade overgrown with shrubs leads straight up to 1750 m. Now a long, flat left traverse into the large cirque. Ascend diagonally left under the rocks of the Grabspitze further and at 2340 m to a broad ridge up to the left. Over this to 2500 m, then left into the large hollow below the saddle on the right of the Felbe. Up this hollow and very steeply right into the saddle (2700 m). On the south side a short stretch left up to the ski depot. Immediately at the ridge very steeply up and continue steeply to the forepeak. Over a flat snow ridge to the east to the summit. Descent: same as ascent
