The ski route on the Fadner has only a low avalanche risk with good track choice and is therefore also suitable for days after heavy snowfall. After the descent from the main summit to the height of Fadneralm, you can reach, by a short climb to the right onto the hill there, the entrance to wonderful forest clearings that promise pure descent enjoyment. A good choice for powder fans.

    Author’s recommendation

There are several descent variants through the forest that can already be identified during the ascent. One of them can be found if you also follow our track during the descent.

From Weißenbach, follow the toboggan run up to Innerhofer Alm. Then go straight up the meadow behind it and through the forest up to a plateau. Now continue to the visible Fadner Alm and flatly pass a weather station on the right, continuing towards Fadner Jöchl. Keep to the right through depressions to a ridge and climb up it to the Jöchl. From there, right up to the highest point with a cairn.
