Eastern (Third) Veneziaspitze

The starting point is the parking lot at the inns Enzian and Schönblick (2055 m). From the parking lot continue along the path to the high bridge. Cross it and pass the ruined Hotel Paradiso (2088 m) on the right until just before the next bridge. Now go left uphill and then right again through loose forest, until you ascend well to the left through open terrain towards a hill above on the left. From this hill go over a short steep slope to the right into a large basin. Now you are below the large slope leading up between the rock walls. Steeply ascend this slope to a saddle. Now go diagonally left, still steep, up to below the front of the Schranferner. Steeply ascend this and, keeping left, ascend over the moderately steep glacier under rock walls (caution: crevasses on the right!). Higher up then curve to the right up to the beginning of the east ridge of the Third Veneziaspitze (ski depot) and over the snow ridge in 10 minutes to the summit (caution: summit cornice!). Ascent
