Probably one of the most prominent ski tours in the Julian Alps -- short approach with quick altitude gain, great descent, magnificent view into the Kanin range.

This ski tour is characterized by: little distance (almost no horizontal gaps), beautiful scenic attractions, and south-facing exposure - making it a pleasure tour on sunny days. Also, a great view over large parts of the Julian Alps.

    Author’s recommendation

With sufficient fitness and good snow conditions, you can also ascend the Riomoz col (western couloir).

Follow the abandoned ski slope up to an elevation of about 1260 m, then leave the ski slope and turn right (east) onto the alpine pasture path. Follow this path to the signpost "Rifugio Corsi" or path number 625, where (with sufficient snow cover) you turn left onto the marked summer trail into the forest. Follow the marked path until you reach the open area below the Cregnedul Alm. For those who prefer a more leisurely route, you can also take the forest road, which is flatter but longer.

Now the ski tour destination is already clearly visible and you head there in a straight line. For most, the ski tour ends at the so-called "Jausenfelsen." Under good conditions and for those who prefer steeper terrain, you can skin up to the col, which offers a nice view of the Saisera.

With appropriate snow conditions, a very enjoyable descent back to the starting point follows.
