Cornisello Pass 3,089 m
Ascent: From the state road, take the Val Nambrón road and follow it to the refuge with the same name (1.00 hours). Continue along the same road until you reach the Segantini-Cornisello crossroads at 1,920m. Turn right and you will see the Cornisello refuge. Without reaching it, the path continues towards Lago di Cornisello Inferiore. Walking along the right side of the lake, you soon reach the Lago di Cornisello Superiore and the Cornisello Alp (2,119 m; 3.30-4.30 hours). From here, you climb in a westerly direction up a valley that leads with a constant gradient to a basin that is located directly in front of the Cornisello peak. From the plain, turn right and climb the steep slopes on a tiring incline. At the top is Lago Vedretta (2,612 m; 1.30-6.00 hours). Cross the lake in a downhill direction and at the end turn onto the basin above. Follow this until you reach a steep ascent that leads up a wide slope to the right. This leads to the Cornisello Pass (3,089 m; 2.00-8.00 hours).
