Ascent: From Restaurant Genzianella head west on a cable car service path prepared by the snowcat. You reach the plain of Vigo Alm, where the valley stations of the Genziana gondola and Malghette are located at 1850 m (0.45 hours). From the Malghette chairlift station, turn right and ascend a traverse on the Vigo slope to find the summer trail track, which you must follow at least on the last horizontal section to the Malghette lake at 1881 m (0.30–1.15 hours). Then cross the entire lake westward, ascend directly a slope with sparse vegetation, and reach the wide plain under the Flusssi di Ginevria. Then turn right and proceed through hilly slopes and small valleys along the wooded ridge up to Malghetto Alto 2059 m (1.00–2.15 hours).
