Through the Dürnbach valley, you reach the Untere Freudenreichalm via forest roads. The path continues up to the Obere Firstalm and over the northeast slope to the summit. Via the Bodenschneidhaus and the toboggan run, you return to the starting point.
Author’s recommendation
There are numerous worthwhile variations along the way. For example, from the Untere Freudenreichalm you can ascend the Brecherspitze to the left. For the descent, it is recommended in safe conditions to ascend from the Bodenschneidhaus to the Wasserspitz and ski down its northern slope to the toboggan run. Both the (usually very busy) Firstalm and the (quieter) Bodenschneidhaus offer refreshment options.

Roadbook
On the forest road, which is also used as a toboggan run, you ascend through the Dürnbach valley until the forest road to the Untere Freudenreichalm branches off to the left. South of the alm, a forest clearing leads up to the wide saddle between Brecherspitze and Krettenburg, where the Obere Firstalm is located. From the Firstalm, you traverse horizontally or initially slightly downhill to the west, until a sparse forest to the right allows the ascent to the notch between Krettenburg and Bodenschneid. From here, a beautiful hollow leads left through the steep northeast slope up to the summit ridge, which can be easily followed to the summit on skis to the right.
The descent now leads a short way downhill along the left flank of the northwest ridge until you can change to the north side through a small notch. Over the beautiful open slope, you ski straight down to the Bodenschneidhaus. The toboggan run then leads back to the starting point.
