The ski route to the Blauspitze at 2554 meters is a real pleasure, only slightly marred by the somewhat annoying forest road at the beginning of the route. Nevertheless, it is worth a visit, if only for the fantastic landscape and the wonderful view of the main Alpine range. A beautiful summit cross adorns the peak above St. Peter in the Ahrntal.

From the parking lot, first follow the broad, seemingly endless forest road with slight ups and downs until it finally climbs up to the first hut. Continue uphill on the forest road until you see on the left the wide basin with the Blauspitze above it. Now ascend in a high right curve to the huts in the basin and head straight for the saddle. Climb over terrain hollows to the saddle and from there to the left over the ridge to the summit cross of the Blauspitze. Descent is the same as the ascent.
