Safety information
The steep final slope should be climbed early enough. If you are too late here, it is better to forgo the summit.Roadbook
From the small parking lot at Gepatsch Reservoir along the forest road up to the Nassereinalm. Past it and continuing on the path further into the Kaiserberg Valley. After about half an hour, we turn north to reach the Schwarzsee. We reach it after a small gorge. Depending on the snow conditions, it is also possible to climb on the right side of the gorge via a steeper slope. Across wide meadows, we now head for the steep final slope, with the summit already in sight. With some switchbacks, the summit ridge is reached, over which we reach the extensive summit without a cross without further problems.
Descent along the ascent route.
