This route is as accurate a reproduction as possible of the final lap that the pros will complete at the UCI Road and Para-Cycling World Championships Zurich 2024.
Where the pros fight for the world championship jersey as well as glory and honor, you can also pedal along. While the athletes ride multiple laps, recreational riders only need one lap.
Starting from Stadelhofen, the route leads up to Klusplatz and continues on to Binz. When you think a well-deserved descent is coming, the nasty incline at Tobelmühli awaits you. But after this tough section, it really goes downhill to the lake.
On the way back into the city, the route runs through the neighborhood streets of the Zurich Gold Coast. Upon arriving at the finish, it's worth taking a break at Sechseläutenplatz, which also serves as the start and finish area at the World Championships.
