It’s a route that invites speed but also wonder: completely flat, it passes through small towns and rural areas between Emilia-Romagna and Veneto, following the Great River along both banks.
The long route, 131 kilometers long, reaches Ariano nel Polesine, then crosses the Po again and returns to the Ferrara area. From here, it continues along the levee, passing through Serravalle, Berra, and Guarda Ferrarese, all the way to Francolino and back to Ferrara.
With its two routes (Long and Short), the Granfondo follows the course of the Po between Ferrara and Polesine, along flat roads where distance and wind are the real challenges.
