The route allows for intensive interval training with generous rest phases in the idyllic northern Hessian hilly landscape.
Our route passes through 2 northern Hessian "mountain groups": the Stölzinger Gebirge and the Richelsdorfer Gebirge. But measured by alpine standards, the altitude differences are minor and only offer a pleasant up and down.

Roadbook
We use the first few kilometers to Oberellenbach to get up to operating temperature. Then the first climb awaits us at Sandberg; the subsequent descent is "pure enjoyment".
In the Beisetal, it starts off leisurely and becomes a bit steeper uphill after Ersrode. Then follows a long descent through the Rohrbachtal to Reilos.
In the Bebra area, we have to briefly deal with more motor vehicle traffic, but from the junction to Iba, there is only light traffic again.
Now it goes through idyllic villages in the Richelsdorfer Gebirge. Finally, there is the second climb up to the Alheimer and a short descent to the parking lot.
