A classic from old times. From Sonthofen, past Oberstdorf to the almost southernmost point of Germany. From there to Lechleiten and back through the wonderful Lech valley.
Although it also works with the MTB, it remains the classic with the racing bike.
On secondary routes via Fischen to Oberstdorf and then past the ski flying hill, Fellhornbahn to the farthest corner to the Speicherhütte.
There you climb the famous Schrofenpass and descend again to Lechleiten in the Lech valley.
From Lechleiten you can then really let go (provided the wind is right).
To Weißenbach at the roundabout and over Gaichtpass into the Tannheimer Valley.
There, over Oberjoch (the old pass road also works with the road bike) down to Bad Hindelang and back to Sonthofen.
