San Vili Path - high variant
Length: 110 km. Actual walk time: about 40 hours.
The route is designed for 5 days of walking: the suggested proposal here provides for starting from Madonna di Campiglio on the first day and reaching the Pra de la Casa location (about 2 and a half hours) on an alternative route to the traditional San Vili Path.
The walk, challenging in terms of hours on the trail and elevation gain, can be “broken up” to suit the needs of each walker and features two high-altitude variants: from Vigo Rendena to Ragoli via Larzana and from Ranzo to Ciago via Margone.

The San Vili Path is named after Saint Vigilio, the bishop and patron saint of Trento who, according to legend, walked it during his evangelizing mission in the 4th century A.D. The path skirts the breathtaking spectacle of the Brenta Dolomites, meets wonderful natural landscapes where water dialogues with rock, crosses charming villages with ancient traditions, and delicious typical local products.
