RSLV15 - Ogre > Ķegums

The stage runs mainly along quiet country roads. Leaving the city of Ogre across the pedestrian arch bridge it is worth enjoying the Health Trail (Veselības taka) along the Ogre river and further on the changing scenery of the banks of the Daugava – the longest and widest waterway of Latvia, often referred to as „the river of Destiny’ by locals. We recommend to enjoy the possibility to feed deer in the Deer Park (Briežu dārzs) and to buy some top quality smoked meet products for the next day at the famous „Rubeņi” company cafeteria. Ķegums Cross Hill offers a quiet outdoors place for reflection and meditation.

Etaps ved galvenokārt pa klusiem lauku ceļiem. Kad ir šķērsots gājēju tilts pāri Ogres upei, vērts pievērst uzmanību Veselības takai upes malā.
