Zuerst steht ab Trient ein Anstieg zum 733 m hohen Passo Cimirlo bevor um danach in die Valsugana zu wechseln. Am wunderbar gelegenen Caldonazzosee, dem zweitgrößten See des Trentino und ein Urlaubsparadies, vorbei geht es wieder auf die Anhöhe von Tenno, wo wir danach am uralten Römerweg (Via Claudia Augusta) am Kirchlein "San Valentino" (13. Jh.) vorbeikommen, um schließlich zum Levicosee, ein Geheimtipp unter Campern, zu gelangen. Nach weiteren 1,5 km ist Levico Terme erreicht.
