Pilgrimage Path - Heart Path of Peace

From the starting point, you first walk through an impressive wooden gate into a beautiful meadow valley and reach the first station of the Heart Path.

Then you continue walking to a farm road, which you follow to the right, and soon after the third and fourth stations follow.

Continuing to the left, you now walk along a meadow path to just before Kreisstraße 57 and then along it. Shortly you cross the small road and reach the fifth station.

Now you walk along the forest edge with a beautiful view over the Taunus and later downhill into the Dörsbach valley past station six to the small village of Dörsdorf.

Here you cross the small Dörsbach and the main road and thus reach the Ackerbach valley.

On the way up to the main road, the Heart Path passes station seven and soon reaches a forest with a huge oak tree.

Passing stations eight to ten, you now go back to the starting point at the bridge with a beautiful view of Katzenelnbogen.

From the Dörsbach Bridge, you continue towards Berghausen uphill to stations 11 and 12 out in the open terrain.

In the village of Berghausen itself, you then find the last of the 13 stations of the Heart Path, and walking past the cemetery, you reach the familiar starting point again.
