The Oropa della Serra Trail is a 61 km route in 4 stages that connects Santhià to the Sanctuary of Oropa (1,159 m). It crosses the Vercelli plain, the Ivrea Morainic Ridge, and the Biellese Alps, offering unique panoramas and natural beauties. The stages are: Santhià-Roppolo (16.5 km, 230 m elevation gain), Roppolo-Sala Biellese (17.4 km, 400 m), Sala Biellese-Sanctuary of Graglia (16.1 km, 550 m), and Sanctuary of Graglia-Oropa (15.1 km, 800 m). Experts can complete it in three stages, staying overnight in Magnano and Graglia. In the last stage, you can choose between the more demanding D1 path or the easier route of the old tramway. From Oropa, it is possible to return to Santhià by bus or train, or by e-bike along the Oropa Cycle Path. The route is well marked with yellow and black trail markers and yellow arrows.
