Nature route with arrival at the panoramic Monte Lera at 1357 meters above sea level.
After leaving the car near the camper parking area and just before the bridge over the Ceronda stream, walk for a few meters on the paved road then leave it, turning left near an artificial water basin, then cross a branch of the Ceronda and proceed along a steep path towards the watershed of the two municipalities. Once on the ridge, turn right reaching the small pass and then continue towards the little chapel. It is also possible to ascend from the municipality of Val della Torre. In this case, reach the Ristorante dei Cacciatori by car, then keeping right take Via Monte Lera and, after passing the last houses, continue on the paved road to the ruins of an old building. After leaving the car, pay close attention to the road surface which is in very poor condition (beyond this point it is possible to continue only with off-road vehicles), continue on foot beyond the barrier in the direction of Mount Baron. After a few hundred meters, leave the firebreak track and take the left path to Colle Bassa delle Sette. Once at the pass, turn left (turning right you can reach the summit of Mount Rosselli) and then cross the southeast slope of Monte Lera (be careful in summer as the path is practically overrun by Molinia grass making it difficult to identify) until the little chapel. It is not advisable to do the ascent in summer on days with above-average temperatures due to the decidedly "excessive" heat and the presence of Molinia arundinacea which completely invades the paths.
