Hemmapilgerweg Route Sveta Ana, 3rd stage: Klagenfurt/Youth Hostel - Maria Saal

Just behind the youth hostel in Neckheimgasse in Klagenfurt, the pilgrim crosses Villacherstraße and now follows Tarviser Straße, which runs parallel to the Lend Canal, to the right, heading east. Before reaching the city center of Klagenfurt, turn left at the Johanneskirche into Lerchenfeldstraße, follow it north to Aichelburg-Labia-Straße and continue to Feldkirchnerstraße. Follow this road out of town to Mageregg Castle. Here, you walk along the cycle path in a large curve to the right on Mageregger Straße about 400 m east, and after crossing the Glan river at a bridge, immediately turn left into Milesistraße and now pilgrimage always parallel to the Glan on the cycle path to Karnburg and from there on towards Maria Saal. Shortly before Maria Saal, leave the cycle path to the right, cross the old federal road and go uphill over Ratzendorf and Seiserweg to the pilgrimage church in Maria Saal.
