From Negru (Olmeta di Capocorso) to Bastia - DoggoMaps

START: Negru beach (Marine de Negru). There is also a parking area.

TYPE OF TRAIL: little asphalt (only in Olmeta di Capocorso and Bastia). Very few signs. Trails are well maintained, sometimes exposed to the sun and sometimes under the shade of the forest. Some rare stretches of "forgotten" trail, but the path can still be seen through dense bushes.

WATER POINTS: Practically absent. You cross some streams along the route, especially on the descent towards Bastia. Water supply is mandatory for your doggo.

POINTS OF INTEREST: Negru beach, panoramic point of San Ghjacintu, Sentiero des Cretes, Bastia. From San Ghjacintu, views of the Golfe de Saint-Florent and then, descending towards Bastia, of Pianosa, Capraia, and Isola d'Elba.

CLIMATE: very windy from the San Ghjacintu pass. To be avoided in summer due to excessive heat in some exposed areas. We had no problems in April.
