The proposed circular excursion starts from the parking lot of the Hermitage of San Pietro, reaches Arco, climbs to the Castle, goes up to Monte Colodri and the Colodri Cross, continues along the ridge overlooking the Sarca Valley, reaches Monte Colt, then descends to Ceniga and returns to the starting point. From the Colodri Cross you can admire a fantastic view of Arco up to Lake Garda. Following the ridge path offers magnificent views of the Sarca Valley. The route can be done in all seasons as the maximum altitude is 434 m, except for abundant snow in the winter period. When you arrive at the Ceniga Cross you will have a nice view of Dro.

    Roadbook

From the parking lot at the Hermitage of San Paolo (90 m), after visiting the religious building, take the paved road south and after about 3 km you arrive at Arco. Here take the path that climbs to the castle. From the castle descend slightly then climb on a paved road to the small church of Santa Maria di Laghel (220 m). Now take trail 431 which leads to Monte Colodri and its cross (400 m). Return slightly back to resume trail 431 which leads to the summit of Monte Colt (434 m). Upon reaching the mountain, descend to the Ceniga Cross (390 m) and then, following a very steep path, arrive at the village of Ceniga near the Roman bridge. Here take the very narrow paved road that leads to the starting point.
