Celestial Path, 3rd Stage: Cormons - Castelmonte

The third stage from Cormons to Castelmonte covers a distance of 26 and a half kilometers. After Vencò, the route continues along the dirt roads of the gentle hills of Collio, passing through the villages of Lonzano, Scriò, and Mernicco before reaching Albana. From here, the trail follows path 748. After an ascent through the green woods of San Pietro di Chiazzacco, you reach the sanctuary of Castelmonte at 618 meters altitude. From Brazzano, you can choose a different option: by extending the route by eight kilometers, you can visit the medieval Abbey of Rosazzo.
