Eighth stage of the Camino Francés, leaving behind Logroño and entering the lands of La Rioja towards Nájera.
The eighth stage features moderate slopes. Leaving the city behind via the Old Street and ascending to the Alto de la Grajera, you can see Logroño on one side and, on the other, our next destination: Navarrete. Along this stretch are the ruins of the old pilgrims' hospital of San Juan de Acre, founded in 1185. About 6 km from Navarrete, the route offers a short marked detour to the village of Ventosa, or you can continue directly towards the Alto de San Antón, which leads to the interesting town of Nájera through a rural area.
