Far from the noise of traffic and everyday stress, you can take a short break from everyday life on this 4 km long hiking and Nordic walking route. In good weather, you will be rewarded with magnificent views of the Black Forest mountains and the idyllic Black Forest village of Hofstetten. A short section of the route still takes you through the village, then you soon reach the quiet side valley. The path back to the starting point runs a little higher at the edge of the forest and offers you wonderful views. Benches along the path invite you to rest briefly and enjoy the fresh air.

After your hike, the inns "Drei Schneeballen" and "Linde", well known far beyond Hofstetten, as well as the village café "Kaltenbach" invite you to a cozy stop.

From Henry-Heller-Platz, the route leads past the inn "Drei Schneeballen". Here you follow the street to the right. The path leads straight ahead into the Salmensbach valley. There you walk along the street for about 2 km and then turn left onto the "Winterhaldenweg" marked with a yellow diamond. Here you will now be led back to Henry-Heller-Platz along the forest edge.
