Small Benediktbeuern Moor Loop (Moosrundweg 2)

From the monastery parking lot, follow the signs for "Moosrundweg 2" west into the Loisach-Kochelsee Moor. You follow an avenue, pass the adventure biotopes, and at the next fork take the left path, which first leads west, then south, east, and north through the moor. Afterwards, keep right and walk along the monastery wall. There, benches with beautiful mountain views invite you to rest. Upon reaching the railway line, turn left. After a few minutes, you reach the starting point, where Benediktbeuern Monastery, the basilica, and the Fraunhofer Glassworks are available for a visit.
