The Seewinkelweg leads over a total length of 44 kilometers through the towns Frauenkirchen, Mönchhof, Halbturn, and St. Andrä. In Frauenkirchen, the highlight is the basilica waiting for you. Lake Neusiedl is easy & comfortable to reach by train. Whether you are coming from Switzerland, Germany, western or southern Austria: you can change trains at Vienna main station very relaxed. The ÖBB regional trains take you in just under 40 minutes to Neusiedl am See station, where coordinated bus and train connections towards Pamhagen / Fertöszémtmiklos or Eisenstadt respectively Sopron are also offered. On most trains, bicycle transport is possible: on Railjet and EC/IC as well as on Nightjets a reservation for your bicycle is absolutely necessary. On regional trains your bicycle is transported without reservation, depending on the availability of bicycle spaces.
