Public transport
Arrival by train:
Lake Neusiedl is easy & comfortable to reach by train. Whether you come from Switzerland, Germany, the west or south of Austria: you can comfortably change trains at Vienna Main Station. The ÖBB regional trains take you in just under 40 minutes to Neusiedl am See station, where coordinated bus and train connections towards Pamhagen / Fertőszentmiklós or Eisenstadt and Sopron are also offered. Most trains allow bicycle transport: on the Railjet and EC/IC and Nightjets a reservation for your bicycle is absolutely necessary. On regional trains, your bicycle can be transported without reservation depending on the availability of bike spaces.
