Arrival by train:
Lake Neusiedl is easily and comfortably accessible by train. Whether you arrive from Switzerland, Germany, the west or south of Austria: you can change trains comfortably at Vienna Central Station. The ÖBB regional trains will take you in just under 40 minutes to Neusiedl am See station, where coordinated bus and train connections towards Pamhagen / Fertőszentmiklós or Eisenstadt and Sopron are also offered. Most trains allow bicycle transport: on Railjet and EC/IC as well as Nightjets, a reservation for your bicycle is absolutely necessary. On regional trains, your bicycle is carried without reservation depending on availability of the existing bicycle spaces.
