The Neusiedler See is easy & comfortable to reach by train. Whether you come from Switzerland, Germany, the west or south of Austria: you can easily change trains at Vienna main station. The ÖBB regional trains will take you to Neusiedl am See station in just under 40 minutes, where coordinated bus and train connections towards Pamhagen / Fertőszentmiklós or Eisenstadt and Sopron are also offered. In most trains, bringing your bicycle is possible: on Railjet and EC/IC as well as Nightjets, a reservation for your bicycle is absolutely necessary. On regional trains, your bicycle is carried without reservation subject to availability of the available bicycle spaces.
