From the Hubertus Chapel, the forest road leads along to the Lower Wolayer Alm. Here the path begins to climb and after some switchbacks, we stand before the Sprudelbach (beautiful waterfall). Shortly thereafter, we reach the plateau of the Upper Wolayer Alm. From there it continues through a hollow, where we already see the monument for the fallen of World War I at the Wolayersee. After a walk of about half an hour, we reach the destination – the Wolayersee hut at the Wolayersee.
