The Wildnörderer is a rather unknown 3000-meter peak in the catchment area of the Hohenzollernhaus near Pfunds. Its ascent is not too difficult, but the summit is finally reached only on trail traces and somewhat exposed.
First long on the alpine road and then on well-developed hiking trails in 1 1/2 hrs up to the Hohenzollernhaus. Above the old customs hut you turn right into the wide cirque named Vorderes Bergele up to the notch and on the right over the ridge and somewhat exposed in the steep eastern flank to the scenic summit with cross.
Author’s recommendation
The Wildnörderer is often used as an introductory route before ascending the Glockturm via the recently very rockfall-dangerous Hüttenkar glacier.

Roadbook
If you start in Pfunds, you have to hike about 8km (2 hrs) additional along the service road to the Wildmoos hut parking lot. From this starting point, continue along the alpine path to just before the Radurschlalpe. Now you can either choose the normal ascent to the Hohenzollernhaus via the Radurschlalpe on the gently ascending wide hiking trail along the northern boundary of the valley end, or you take the waterfall path, which follows the service road up to the material cableway and then leads ruggedly and rooty in short switchbacks left of the Radurschl creek, finally around the hut rock to the Hohenzollernhaus (1 1/2 hrs).
Now it goes flat over meadows to a short steep section that leads left of the creek to the old customs hut. The lake outlet is bridged to the right, at the signpost continue right over the steep eastern slopes in a few switchbacks up into the wide high valley named Vorderes Bergele. We hike on beautiful alpine meadows and short scree fields in several gentle stages westwards toward the distinctive grassy saddle between Brunnewandspitze on the left and Wildnörderer on the right. Finally, in a few switchbacks over the steep meadow to the saddle.
We now follow the ridge to the right up to the first rock step. Near the ridge edge and a bit to the right below it, the steep rock is bypassed on trail traces, then shortly along the ridge to the next rock rise. Here we leave the ridge on just visible trail traces along sparse pale red dots and cairns into the somewhat exposed eastern flank. A longer exposed traverse over steep grassy mats and scree bands (once a short fixed rope) passes under the summit, around a flank ridge into a broad scree gully. In front of it, the ascent goes over slabs and small blocks to the summit notch and crawls up left on the broad block ridge to the nearby summit cross (3 hrs).
Descent follows the ascent path.
