A beautiful route that we did on our holiday. It was during the week and we started at 7:00 a.m. We were alone for a long time, saw chamois, and watched the sun slowly rise over the mountains. On the ascent to the Widderstein, there were already more people. The ascent to Widderstein involved some easy climbing. Shortly before the summit, we saw three ibexes lying in the sun. At the summit, there were quite a few people for a weekday, and on the descent, we met many people coming up. We then continued to the Widdersteinhütte, stopped there briefly, and then proceeded down through the Gemsteltal. In the Gemsteltal, we were alone again.
