A hike on partially unknown paths and forest roads.
The Vordere Mandling and the Linkogel are rarely visited mountains, as most prefer the Hohe Mandling and the Lindkogel seems insignificant. There are several interesting viewpoints, as of 13.3.2021.

To make this hike a circular route, take the Geißweg up and continue briefly to the left on a marked trail. This is left after a few meters to reach the marked trail to Vordere Mandling after about 150 meters of elevation. From there down to path 231, which is soon left in the direction of Lindkogel. From Lindkogel, it goes only downhill back to Wopfing.

From the parking lot near the fire department to the Geißweg and up to a forest road that leads without markings to path 201A. Shortly left on this, then following trail signs in somewhat rocky terrain up to a new high stand structure. From there continue up to the blue marking that leads to Vordere Mandling. After a partial circumnavigation of the ridge, there is a clearly visible unmarked trail leading to the ridge of the Vordere Mandling as shown on an OSM map. From there, descend off-trail to a saddle, then follow the marking again towards the official Vordere Mandling, which requires some climbing again. On this way there is an intermediate peak with a broken survey stone. At the Vordere Mandling, which is a little over 500 meters away from the OSM summit, there is a cross and a survey point. From there, follow the marking to path 231, which is followed to the right until a forest road branches off to the left. Follow this briefly to a clearly branching trail leading further up to a forest road to cross. Now follow a forest road up to Lindkogel. From Lindkogel, descend in a southeastern direction following a forest path marked with cairns back to path 231. Follow it briefly, then take a marked trail right towards Wopfing, which leads to an asphalt road. Follow this down and then back to the starting point.
