Easy walk in one of the best-known valleys of the Adamello Brenta Nature Park in front of Crozzon di Brenta.
The water accompanies the walk with streams and small waterfalls, while the valley opens into one of the most spectacular natural amphitheaters of the Dolomiti di Brenta. Despite the abandonment of the mountain huts, the pastoral soul of the place survives in the silence of the pastures.
It was from the alpine pasture of Malga Brenta Alta that the English mountaineer D.W. Freshfield described the Crozzon with words full of wonder: “Right at the center of so much beauty, a colossal rock towered before us, one of the most marvelous monuments of the forces of nature.”

NEAREST VALLEYS:
- From Val Brenta it is possible to connect to Vallesinella via two different routes:
A. from Malga Brenta Alta return back to Malga Brenta Bassa and from here turn right following the Dolomiti Brenta Trek bike route until reaching Cascate di Mezzo, in Vallesinella. This is the easier variant.
B. from Malga Brenta Alta go up towards Rifugio Maria e Alberto ai Brentei along trail 323. Shortly after Malga Brenta Alta turn left onto the Violi trail, a not difficult trail equipped with exposed passages on rocks that can be slippery after rain (sign 391). The trail leads to Rifugio Casinei. From here choose whether to reach Vallesinella going directly to the Vallesinella restaurant (sign 317), or taking trail 317 B which passes first by Cascate Alte. This is a more difficult variant due to exposure. - Val Brenta is also the access point for Valagola.

Roadbook
Pass the building and continue by car along the road to the "Piazzale delle Bore" parking lot. From here, follow the trail marked with sign 323 towards Malga Brenta Bassa along the dirt road in the forest. The elevation gain is almost imperceptible. Upon reaching the pasture of the hut, the view opens up over the amphitheater of the Dolomiti di Brenta dominated by the Crozzon di Brenta. The table at the entrance of the hut represents a great spot for a break.
To the right of the hut, the sign 323 trail continues towards Malga Brenta Alta. From the hut to the cable car, the path is wide and smooth, on a dirt road, partly uphill. From the cable car, the road turns into a trail called "sentiero di Val Brenta", climbing the mountain slope. This is the steepest section. The first part is in the forest; then the vegetation thins and you walk on stone steps almost up to the alpine pasture. After the climb, you pass a livestock gate to reach the last flat stretch in the forest up to 1670 m altitude at Malga Brenta Alta.
Stamp: the stamp is on a tree along the trail to Rifugio Brentei, shortly after Malga Brenta Alta (about 20 meters).
Attention: The valley currently does not have the final stamp.
