Safety information
From Alpe Türtsch to the summit and back, there are partly steeper, exposed sections to overcome; good shoes, sure-footedness, and good fitness are prerequisites.Roadbook
From the starting point head west along the paved road. At the district Mittelberg, then take the path uphill and continue along 2 hairpin bends. After a few meters, when entering the forest, a trail on the right can be used to shorten the forest road twice.
At the last hairpin bend (right curve) towards Stellialpe, however, the trail must be taken further west. You go through a slightly sloping gully then back onto a better path to Stellealpe. Follow the forest road further to Türtschalpe.
Here turn right up. The path to Türtschhorn is partially poorly visible. Just stay close to the ridge.
Downhill, shortly after Türtschalpe, we took a trail descending through the forest. Follow this and reach the Wiesa parcel again on a paved road. Follow this to the Zenzaboden parcel. There turn right again and reach 2 nicely situated farms. Then continue down a trail until you come to the L193 in Garsella. The bus stop is very close. We used the waiting time to refresh ourselves in the Lutzbach stream.
